  • Curated by some of India’s best travel experts, Swarajya Heritage Tours wishes to help the travellers understand the Indian antiquity and immerse themselves in it.
  • After the success of Swarajya Heritage Tour last year, we are happy to be back with our flagship Hampi tour. Following requests from many readers, a trip to the exquisite Chola Temples of Tamil Nadu has been added to the itinerary.

Organised in partnership with Wanderfirst, the tour aims to introduce our readers to the splendour of some of India's historically important places.

Curated by some of India's best travel experts, Swarajya Heritage Tours wishes to help the travellers understand the Indian antiquity and immerse themselves in it.

Hampi, the capital of the glorious Vijayanagara empire is largely made up of the ruins of the magnificent past. Visitors will learn about Hampi’s connection to the Ramayana as the Kishkindha of the Vanaras while they get captivated by its architecture and grandeur.

The Virupaksha Temple and Vijaya Vittala Temple top the list of itinerary.

The tour of the Chola temples will bring us face to face with some of the finest temple architectures India has ever produced. The tour will cover three UNESCO nominated Great Chola Living Temples - the 11th and 12th century Brihadisvarar Temple at Thanjavur, the Brihadisvarar Temple at Gangaikondacholapuram and the Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram. The grand structures are home to paintings, sculptures and inscription of immense historical value.

We have restricted the number of travellers to not more than 15 to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.

Details about the trip and ticket requirements are here.
