Gujarat-based KP Energy Limited has aligned partnered with Aditya Biral Group for development of wind power project in Bhavnagar district.
The project at Bhunagar and Fulsar site in Mahuva in Bhavnagar district will be developed under Gujarat hybrid power policy 2018, KP energy said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday (31 August).
The company said that the definitive contracts for development of the project have been executed with Aditya Birla Group's subsidiaries.
KP Energy will be among other things responsible for providing turnkey balance of plant solution for the project, including wind site locations, obtaining necessary approvals and development permits, wind data management and windfarm development works.
Further, the company will also be responsible for electrical line network as well as complete power evacuation from Pooling substation to GETCO (Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation) substation, it said.
The total value of the projects to be developed by KP Energy for Aditya Birla Group is about Rs 220 crore with the scheduled commissioning in March 2023.
