The Noida authority is planning to develop a centralised automobile cluster in Sector 105 spanning 10,000 square metres, relocating all multi-brand outlets from the congested Udyog Marg to improve customer experience and reduce traffic bottlenecks, the Hindustan Times reported.

The multi-storey automobile hub, strategically located just off the Noida Expressway, will house all automobile brands under one roof.

"We identified this land because it is located on a wide road just off the Noida Expressway. The best part is that this road is surrounded by wide roads on three sides, offering ample space for the visitors and users to use," Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M, was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.

Currently, most automobile outlets operate along Udyog Marg in Sector 11, causing severe traffic congestion during peak hours due to illegal roadside parking by showroom visitors.

The road remains choked daily, inconveniencing thousands of commuters as customers struggle to find parking spaces near the outlets.

The authority's urban town planning department has verified that the Sector 105 plot has a commercial land use designation, making it suitable for relocating the automobile outlets.

The current outlets operate on plots originally designated for industrial use, creating parking difficulties and longer service times for customers.

The authority will finalise the design of this multi-storey building, and then allot the space through a scheme to be launched in future.

Customers have long complained about parking woes on Udyog Marg.

Visitor Laxya Awana cited instances of vehicles being towed while owners were inside showrooms, emphasising the need for relocation and road redevelopment.
