Vande Bharat Express: Gorakhpur-Lucknow Along With Chennai-Tirupati And Jodhpur-Sabarmati Routes To Be Operational In July

After connecting all states where tracks are electrified, the Railways will be launching three more Vande Bharat trains in July.
Three Vande Bharat trains are slated to be running from Gorakhpur to Lucknow, Chennai to Tirupati and Jodhpur to Sabarmati.
According to the tentative plan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to flag off Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express on 7 July for which the rake has already been dispatched from ICF Chennai for the trial run .
Preparations are afoot for launching Chennai- Tirupati Vande Bharat Express and Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express also on 7 July by the PM.
However, according to the Railways, the date and place for launching these three Vande Bharat trains are yet to to be finalised.
While five Vande Bharat trains are flagged off in June, three trains are now ready to be operational in July.
The number of Vande Bharat services will increase to 52 after the operation of three more trains in July.
All these Vande Bharat trains are having eight-coach composition and the number of coaches can be increased according to the traffic demand.
There was a demand for long time for Vande Bharat service for Lucknow from Gorakhpur which was finally met.
Similarly, the Chennai-Tirupti Vande Bharat Express will cater to the heavy rush of pilgrims for Tirupati from Chennai. There is already a Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad to Tirupati.
Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will connect Rajasthan and Gujarat for tourists and business clientele.
