In yet another heart-wrenching, tragic incident in Tamil Nadu, a two-year-old girl Revathi Sanjana died as she was drowned in a tub of water at her home in Tuticorin district on Monday night, Tamil Newschannel Pudhiya Thalaimurai reported.
The incident happened even as her parents were engrossed in watching television news providing the minute by minute news updates on the bid to rescue toddler Sujith Wilson.

Revathi Sanjana was the daughter of fisherman Lingeswaran and his wife, Nisha, of Therespuram coastal village.
The couple, who were watching TV and discussing the rescue efforts, suddenly realised that their child was missing, police said.
Lingeswaran then went to the bathroom in search of his daughter and was shocked to see the child’s leg sticking out of a plastic container of water.

The girl who was motionless was rushed to the Tuticorin government hospital where she declared dead on arrival.
Police said that they have registered case of unnatural death will be registered.
