Following TATA Sky, Airtel DTH has announced a 10 per cent discount on new connections. Customers will have to use the code ‘ADTV10’ to avail 10 per cent rebate up to Rs 300. The existing users can upgrade to a secondary connection via the customer support or the self-care portal but they will have to purchase a new set-top box for the same.
Additionally, Airtel Digital TV is working swiftly to expand its user base in recent times. The Bharti Airtel’s DTH arm is adding one lakh new subscribers on a quarterly basis through a slew of new features, Telecom Talk reports.
It has also swiftly implemented the National Tariff Order (NTO) 2.0 that has been rolled out by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
The new NTO has made a revision to the Network Capacity Fees (NCF) for both primary and secondary connections. Now, Airtel Digital TV’s primary connection subscribers will be charged Rs 153.4, inclusive of taxes, for 200 SD FTA channels.
For secondary connections, the user will have to pay Rs 61.36 (including taxes) for the first 200 SD channels and Rs 75.52 (including taxes) for 200 SD channels.
