In a shocking discovery, it was found that pipe bombs were sent to prominent Democrats including former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, liberal financier George Soros, and the offices of CNN. No one was hurt, and authorities reportedly intercepted the devices sent to Obama and Clinton before they were delivered to their homes, setting off an immediate investigation on Wednesday.

As per reports by The New York Times, the bombs were sent in manila envelopes that were tracked down by the authorities from Washington to New York to Florida to Los Angeles.

Another suspected explosive device was found at the office of Florida Representative, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Whoever sent the explosives used Wasserman Schultz as the return address. It is believed that the package found at her office was sent to former Attorney General Eric Holder, but returned to sender because it had the wrong address.

A sixth suspicious package, sent to California Rep. Maxine Waters, was reportedly intercepted at a Congressional mail facility and is under investigation.

Responding to this incident, Donald Trump condemned the act as 'abhorrent, despicable' as per reports by The Guardian.
