Airtel Digital TV Embarks On Major Regional Push, Reduces Pack Prices Launches New Ones

India’s leading DTH operator Airtel Digital TV has launched a series of new packs for the regional market and also reduced prices in a possible bid to attract new subscribers, Dream DTH has reported.
As per the report, the DTH operator had launched 10 new packs in August out of which eight packs directly pertain to the regional market. The new packs are:
- Tamil Nadu HD Pack - Rs 260
- Tamil Nadu SD Pack - Rs 170
- Kerala HD Pack - Rs 242
- Kerala SD Pack - Rs 185
- Karnataka SD Pack - Rs 195
- Karnataka SD Plus Pack - Rs 202
- Andhra SD Pack - Rs 198
- Andhra SD Plus Pack - Rs 198
- Andhra HD Pack - Rs 294
- Kerala 6 month Superstar Ultimate Pack - Rs 1,398
- Dabang Sports Pack - Rs 290
Besides launching these new packs, Airtel has reduced the price of its Tamil superstar pack to Rs 199.
Besides carrying channels belonging to their respective regions, most of these packs also carry sports, infotainment and kids channels to provide an all round entertainment for their audience.
