Airtel Digital TV has announced a new pricing system for channels, which will help their customers choose channels and bouquets, according to the latest TRAI regime, Gadgets Now reports.
Under the new method, Airtel Digital TV subscribers will be able to switch their plans on Airtel’s website or by calling customer care. Further, users will be able to select the channels they want to watch with a QR scan from their TV screens.
Airtel DTH subscribers can make their plans or select from across the recommended plans in accordance to the TRAI regulations on channel 998, where they will be able to view the list of channels with their a-la-carte prices and the broadcaster packs.
Customers can also select the Airtel value plans which are designed based on the user's current channel selection or current monthly recharge value. Once they have chosen the plan or the channels, all they need to do is scan their QR code using their smartphone camera and send it to 54325 for the plan to be activated from 1 February.
A video demonstrating the process of selection of channels and plans is also available on channel 999 for the convenience of the subscribers.
Airtel DTH customers can also log on to www.airtel.in/digital-tv or My Airtel App to opt for the channels or the pack they want.
