The Army foiled two infiltration bids by militants in over the past 18 hours along the Line of Control in Gulmarg and Nowgam sectors in the Kashmir Valley.
"Two infiltration attempts by terrorists were foiled in the last 18 hours in Gulmarg and Nowgam sectors in the Kashmir Valley," an army official said. The alert troops pushed back the intruders after heavy exchange of fire, he added.
