As Jyotiraditya Scindia Becomes Civil Aviation Minister, Netizens Say Now He Can Bring "Pilot"Sachin Pilot and Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Madhya Pradesh, has been appointed as the new civil aviation minister of India. The Rajya Sabha member is one of the major faces to have been inducted in the cabinet yesterday.

Notably, his father, Madhavrao Scindia, had served as the civil aviation minister in the PV Narasimha Rao government.

Sources say Jyotiraditya Scindia was given the Civil Aviation Ministry as the top BJP leadership believes that the civil aviation sector needs a young, fresh, dynamic face that can take forward the needs of the country in the context of New India.

However, as the news of Scindia becoming the Civil Aviation minister spread, speculations arose on social media whether Sachin Pilot too would follow the former Congress leader.

Multiple netizens apparently took a jibe at the name "Pilot", referring to the pilot of the aircraft, and stated that while he remains grounded, Scindia is flying in the BJP.

One user stated, "Scindia takes off while Pilot is still grounded."

Another remarked, "Scindia made minister of civil aviation, now his main work will be to fetch pilot."

Another quipped, "At the time of revolt by Scindia from Congress, it was thought that, it may be blessings in disguise for Pilot but even after a year, while #Scindia has taken off as aviation minister, #Pilot continues to be parked in Congress Hanger. My sympathies with him."
