Bengal BJP leader Locket Chatterjee who is an actress by profession, found her house ransacked on Friday morning (19 April) after returning form a Lok Sabha campaign, News18 has reported.
As per the report, Chatterjee had rented a house in Bandel, a suburb near Kolkata to help her campaign for the ongoing Lok Sabha polls. She alleged that since the past few days some miscreants were lingering outside her house.
Fed up she decided to confront them yesterday and threatened to click their photographs following which they fled. The next day she found her house vandalised. She had pinned the blame on Trinamool activists in the area.
TMC goons attacked my home in Hooghly today afternoon. They are disturbed with the support for BJP.

Nothin can stop me, not even your cowardly attack on me. I will campaign more in coming days. pic.twitter.com/DhTJhNxbAq
She also alleged that the accused had even confronted her landlord for renting out the house. Chatterjee has stated that she would be taking up this matter with the Election Commission. She is BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Hoogly.
The TMC on the other hand had denied any involvement in this attack and has blamed it on alleged infighting in the BJP.
