Bengaluru-Based Drone Analytics Startup Skylark Drones Raises $3 Million, To Expand At International Level

Bengaluru-based drones platform company Skylark Drones has raised USD three million in pre-series A funding round led by InfoEdge Ventures and IAN Fund with participation from other investors like AdvantEdge Founders, Fowler Westrup, Redstart Labs, IKP and Vimson group, reports Livemint.
The company, which has offices in India and the United States (US), will be using the funds raised to strengthen its drone data analytics-based product offerings and fuel its international expansion.
The company aims to help its customers elevate worksite productivity and safety by providing geospatial intelligence to different enterprises in mining, solar power, real estate, agriculture and inspection.
Skylark Drones provides its customers with the ability to use AI-powered technology products such as Spectra and Drone Mission Ops.
Skylark Drones was founded six years ago by Mrinal Pai and Mughilan Thiru Ramasamy. Both hold the positions of co-founders in the company, while Ramasamy also serves as the chief executive officer (CEO).
