Bharti Airtel is offering unlimited data to their high-end broadband subscribers in across various circles in India, to compete with the highly-awaited Reliance Jio GigaFiber, the Telecom Talk reports. The Sunil Mittal-led telecom is offering unlimited data in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
In the National Capital, Airtel broadband subscribers opting for the high-end Rs 1,999 plan would receive unlimited data at speeds up to 100 Mbps. The plan also bundles free subscription of Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Further, if users opt for a six-month-long subscription, they would need to pay Rs 1,699 per month, and Rs 1,599 per month for annual subscriptions.
In Hyderabad, Airtel is not limiting the unlimited data offer to high-end plans. Airtel broadband subscribers opting to plans of Rs 349, Rs 499, Rs 699 and Rs 1,299 would have unlimited data. However, only the Rs 1,299 plan would offer a speed of 100 Mbps and bundles free Netflix and Amazon Prime subscription.
Airtel broadband subscribers in Mumbai can avail the Rs 1,999 unlimited data plan available in New Delhi alongside another high-end plan priced at Rs 2,199. However, this plan offers a maximum of 1,260 GB with speeds of up to 300 Mbps, Selecting a six-month-long subscription would see users get an extra 1,000 GB.
