The Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta has filed a filed a complaint against Delhi Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia while alleging that the two are trying to implicate him in a false conspiracy to kill Kejriwal, reports Asian News International (ANI).

Apart from the complaint filed by Gupta with the Delhi Police, he also wrote a letter to Kejriwal in which he stated, “In the recent past, in order to yield political gains Arvind Kejriwal scripted the slap-gate during his roadshow on 4 May and blamed BJP for the said incident.”

He further added that it had been revealed that it was Kejriwal himself who had demanded that his security be removed. Gupta alleged that Kejriwal did so else the presence of security personnel would have thwarted his script.

The Delhi CM had recently alleged in an interview to a Punjabi channel that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wanted to get him killed by his own PSO the way Indira Gandhi had been killed. This unfounded allegation gave rise to a major uproar with the Delhi BJP slamming him and questioning why the CM didn’t file any complain and get his PSO changed then.
