Hillary Clinton, who ran against Donald Trump in the 2016 US Presidential elections, is alleged to have made a racist remark about senior American officials in an interview, as reported by Express UK. A Democrat and a former Secretary of State under the Obama administration, she claimed that all New York black politicians looked alike.
While being interviewed for Recode by Kara Swisher, said, “Yeah. I know they all look alike,’ when the interviewer (Kara) got confused between two black congressmen, Cory Booker and Eric Holder. Immediately, Kara corrected her by saying, ‘No they don’t!’ To make matters worse, Clinton responded saying, “I was paid by Mark Zuckerberg to do that.’

This created a storm on the internet, and one tweet asked how people would react if Donald Trump had said something similar. Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party, to which she belongs, have repeatedly alleged that President Trump was extremely racist in his dealings and words.
Trump has spent years peddling a racist conspiracy aimed at undermining the first African American president. He can't just take it back.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
