A bomb blast in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) near the Line of Control (LoC) in Chamb sector has killed five soldiers, and injured one soldier of the Pakistan Army, a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, ANI reports.

According to Pakistani local news channel Geo TV, a spokesperson for the Pakistan Army’s media wing said that five Pakistan army soldiers were killed, and another soldier was injured. “Nature of blast being ascertained,” the press release said.

The statement from ISPR further added, “The incident is evident of state sponsored terrorism by India violating bilateral ceasefire agreement and the international rules.” Those killed have been identified as Subedar Muhammad Sadiq, Naik Sher Zaman and sepoys Muhammad Tayyab, Zohaib and Ghulam Qasim.
