In the video Chakraborty also said that she has "immense faith in courts and the judiciary" and ended the video by saying Satyamev Jayate with folded hands.
Many twitter users though were not impressed by Chakraborty's video and proceeded to term it as a "PR stunt".
"Crumpled simple clothes, moist eyes, scripted lines, no make-up, no filters, no glamour: Brilliant attempt to appear a victim. 100/100 to her PR team", said a prominent doctor and twitter user @theskindoctor13

Another prominent twitter user questioned the possible change in narrative over the incident.

Mumbai Police investigation will give her justice, Bihar police will do injustice? https://t.co/DIVs5ypSZY
Calls have grown in recent days to order a CBI probe into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, a request which the Maharashtra government has resisted against. The Enforcement Directorate has meanwhile filed a money laundering case over Rs 15 crore which were suspiciously transferred out of Sushant's account.
The Bihar Police meanwhile is in Mumbai to probe the allegations made by Sushant's father. The Supreme Court will hear Chakraborty's plea to transfer the case to the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Police.
