Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani was seen in the audience during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally on Friday (26 April) in Mumbai days after his father endorsed Congress candidate Milind Deora in South Mumbai, The Hindu reports.
The 24-year-old was in the front row of the poll rally at Bandra Kurla Complex. A Marathi news channel quotes him saying that he was at the rally to “listen to Modi and support the nation”.
The chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani had recently endorsed Deora from Mumbai South for the ongoing Lok Sabha constituency, where the voting is set to take place on 19 April.
The backing from the Mukesh Ambani to the Congress leader comes at a time when his party has been relentlessly attacking his brother Anil Ambani over the Rafale Jet deal.
Deora had earlier shared a video on his Twitter page, in which Mukesh Ambani said, “Milind is the man for South Mumbai”.

Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
