The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) is developing a software to automate the evaluation process for Class 10 and 12 students which is expected to reduce the time taken to complete the process and also reduce calculation work, Livemint has reported.
This software will be made available to all CBSE affiliated schools and will also pre-populate Class 10 marks of the students.
"An IT system is being developed in house, which will be made available to all the concerned schools… for a calculation of results. This system will ease down the calculation work, reduced time taken, and so many other hassles. This system will also pre populate marks of Class 10 students who have passed from CBSE. Efforts will also be made to take other boards Class 10 results data", the CBSE has said in a statement.
The CBSE is also mulling ways to automatically source Class 10 marks of other boards which which be utilised in-case of students who have migrated to the board.
The schools have also been asked to ready Class 10, 11 final marks and Class 12's pre-board exam marks for the evaluation of the final results under the 30:30:40 criteria.

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
