BJP leader Harish Khurana on Monday (29 April) filed a complaint against Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for holding multiple voter ID cards, ANI has reported.
Khurana alleges that Sunita Kejriwal holds two voter ID cards, one from Sahibabad in Ghaziabad and one from Civil Lines in Chandni Chowk. He has thus filed a case against her at the Tis Hazari court in Delhi.
Incidentally, the same leader had earlier claimed that Sunita Kejriwal actually has another voter id from West Bengal.
This controversy comes amidst AAP accusing ace-cricketer turned BJP leader Gautam Gambhir of holding two Voter ID cards. This issue has seen AAP candidate Aatishi Marlena moving court against Gambhir.
Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh has put it on record that it can take no action in this matter unless a complaint is filed. Gambhi meanwhile has vehemently denied these allegations.
