Controversial Actor Ajaz Khan Who Contested Polls, Currently In Sixth Position; Gets Less Votes Than NOTA

Controversial actor Ajaz Khan who had decided to contest the Maharashtra Assembly polls from Mumbai’s Byculla is currently languishing in the sixth position. He is trailing the current leader who is Shiv Sena’s Yamini Yashwant Jadhav by over 36,000 votes.
As per election commission data, Khan has managed to poll 1,596 votes in his favour with even the none of the above (NOTA) option having polled more at 2,103 votes.
Khan a trenchant critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah was recently arrested by the Mumbai police for inciting communal hatred via his Tik Tok videos.
