Delhi: IRS Officer Dies By Suicide After Fearing That He May Infect His Family Members With Covid-19

A 56-year-old Indian Revenue Services (IRS) officer reportedly died by suicide in Delhi on Sunday (15 June) after he feared that he may spread Covid-19 infection to his family members, Press Trust of India has reported.
The report claims that the IRS officer consumed an acid-like substance in this car and passed away. He was found unconscious in his car and rushed to a nearby hospital but was found dead.
As per a suicide note reportedly recovered from his car, he wrote that he feared he might infect his family with Covid-19 and as a result did not want them to suffer.
The report claims that the officer had undergone a Covid-19 test last week and while the results were negative but he continued fearing for his family members.
The incident was reported to the Dwarka South police station and the cops are investigating the matter.
