Delhi Police Arrests Jamia Nagar Couple Linked To ISIS For Instigating Anti-CAA Protests

In a major development, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell on Sunday (8 March) arrested a couple, Jahanjeb Sami and wife Hina Bashir Beg, with links to ISIS for allegedly instigating anti-CAA protests, reports IndiaTVNews.
As per report, Police have also claimed that the couple, from New Delhi’s Jamia Nagar, were linked to the Islamic State’s Khorasan module.

According to the police, both the accused were in touch with several senior ISIS (K) operatives and were trying to incite Muslim youth to carry out terror strikes in the national capital.
The ISIS (K) has been involved in militancy since 2015 and has been mainly active in Afghanistan and Pakistan till date.
