The Delhi Police Special Commissioner Praveer Ranjan in a press conference on Thursday (4 February) clarified that it has not named Greta Thunberg or any individual in particular in its FIR against the creators of the Farmer Protest 'toolkit', ANI has reported.

"We haven't named anybody in the FIR, it's only against the creators of toolkit which is a matter of investigation & Delhi Police will be investigating that case", Ranjan has been quoted as saying.

The unnamed perpetrators have been named under sections of the FIR reserved for offences like spreading disaffection against the Indian government, promoting hatred amongst communities and criminal conspiracy.

This clarification comes after media reports had claimed that Greta Thunberg had been charged with Section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race) and Section 120B (criminal conspiracy) by the police.

Thunberg was the one who accidentally tweeted the entire toolkit which exposed the internationally coordinated campaign to bolster the farmer protests at the Delhi Border. Thunberg soon deleted the toolkit and later shared a much watered down version, sans the incriminating details.
