In a big boost for Make in India, Netherlands based flying car maker PAL-V has decided to set up a manufacturing facility in the State of Gujarat with the target of beginning production by as soon as 2021, reports Economic Times.
PAL-V which stands for Personal Air Land Vehicle has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with State's Industries Principal Secretary M K Das in the presence of Chief Minister (CM) Vijay Rupani.
The State Government has decided to help PAL-V get all approvals from the centre for the the project which once implemented would lead to export of flying cars to markets in European nations and the United States (US).
From PAL-V's end, the MoU was signed by the vice president of the company's international business development Carlo Maasbommel who said that the company chose the State of Gujarat to set up its unit in India because of its world class infrastructure, ease of doing business and better port and logistic facilities.
