Have you wondered about the possibility of computers merging with human brains, like a brain-computer interface? While this might sound like science fiction, Tesla Inc founder and chief executive Elon Musk has reportedly founded a company, Neuralink Corp, that could do just that.
According to Reuters, which cites the Wall Street Journal’s reporting, the company will pursue “neural lace” technology that involves implanting tiny electrodes in human brains that may one day upload and download thoughts.
The Journal also reports that people in the know-how about the company say that its strategy will be similar to that of Musk’s space launch company SpaceX and Tesla. The company is reportedly registered as a medical research company in California, and Musk will be reportedly funding Neuralink mostly by himself.

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
