A video has surfaced on the web in which a member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Congress party is seen inciting violence in the wake of the protests by farmers in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
In the video clip shared by Tajinder Bagga, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi, Shakuntala Khatik of Shivpuri is seen telling party workers and farmers around her to burn down a police station (“Thaane mein aag laga do” in Hindi).

Mandsaur has been tense with farmers protesting over their demands for remunerative prices for their produce and a farm loan waiver not being met. This unfortunately took an ugly turn on Tuesday (6 June) when five farmers were killed and eight others injured in police firing.
