Rahul Gandhi’s ‘photoshoot sarkar’ jibe on Prime Minister Modi appears to have backfired as Bharataiya Janata Party (BJP) retorted back with a video of the Congress party president where he was seen dancing happily few hours after the ghastly Pulwama attack which took lives of 40 CRPF personnel.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s accusation that PM Modi kept shooting a film well into the evening even after the terror attack, BJP tweeted, “Rahul Ji, India is tired of your fake news. Stop sharing photos from that morning to shamelessly mislead the nation. Maybe you knew in advance of the attack but people of India got to know in the evening. Try a better stunt next time, where sacrifice of soldiers isn’t involved”.

BJP IT Cell head Amit Malvaiya questioned the Congress over video footage of Rahul Gandhi seen happily dancing in Valsad, Gujarat. The video was shared by the official Congress handle at 4:44 PM on the day of the Pulwama terror attack, but later deleted, reports DNA India.

In a scathing attack on PM Modi on Friday, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and said, "Even after three hours of the news of the 40 jawans being martyred in the Pulwama terror strike, the prime time minister continued with a film shooting,"

“There was an ocean of pain in the country's hearts and in the homes of martyrs and he was smiling and doing a photoshoot in the waters,” Gandhi wrote with the hashtag 'PhotoShootSarkar'.

The Twitterati were quick to find a video shared by Congress in which Rahul Gandhi was seen dancing on the day of the attack. While the official Congress handle deleted the tweet, a footage of the same rally is available on the Gujarat Youth Congress Twitter handle, drawing widespread criticism.

Recently BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra attacked Congress, saying, “While due to the Diplomatic capital build by PM Modi UNSC names Pakistan Terror group Jaish in #PulwamaAttack  ..we have the Congress providing cover fire by articulating phases like “Homegrown So called terrorist”!!
