Controversial Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and MP Azam Khan is again making headlines as an FIR has been filed against him for allegedly stealing a buffalo, reports India Today.

In the FIR filed by two named Asif and Zakir Ali, it has been claimed that Khan had barged into their house with five other men, stealing their buffalo and cash amounting to Rs 25,000, while also vandalising the residence.

The incident had taken place on 15 October in 2016 according to the complainants , who also claimed that Khan had pressurised them to vacate their house as he wanted the same to be used for building a school.

It should be noted that over 50 cases of stealing books, usurping land and properties and also of giving hate speeches have been registered against Khan so far. Khan had also applied for an anticipatory bail in 29 cases of land grabbing. The bail plea was rejected on Wednesday.

In this latest FIR for stealing a buffalo, along with Khan, former circle officer Alay Hasan and four others have been booked, while a mention has also been made about 40 unnamed individuals.
