Indian film actor Prabhas, widely known for his role of Baahubali in the two-part period blockbuster film- ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, took to Instagram to share his connection of Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Chandrayaan-2.

The Chandrayaan-2 was launched successfully in the second attempt by the ISRO from its Sriharikota launch base in Andhra Pradesh at 2.43 pm on Monday (22 July).

The spacecraft is now en-route a 48-day journey to the Moon with ISRO planning a 7 September soft landing on the lunar surface. If successful, the landing will earn India the tag of the being only the fourth nation in the world- after the US, Russia and China to land on the moon successfully.

On the work front, the actor will next be seen in ‘Saaho’ starring opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The movie was set to release on 15 August, but due to delay in production, it is slated for a 30 August release.
