Amid the nationwide lockdown imposed due to the novel coronavirus in the country, governments, organisations and philanthropists have come forward to provide aid to the needy.
However, a shocking video of one such effort is making rounds on social media.
In the video, Congress MLA Rajendra Bidhuri from the Begun constituency in Rajasthan can be seen asking the crowd to choose who is better among Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
When a woman replies "PM Modi”, the MLA can be heard saying, ‘Go light diyas, leave the ration here’.
This is very shameful behaviour from Congress MLA in Rajasthan.

Speaking to Republic TV, BJP state president Satish Poonia accused Rajasthan government of indulging in appeasement politics and discrimination while distributing ration in the areas affected by the disease.
He further said, “The way Congress leader's attitude is towards the situation is clearly seen. They indulge in appeasement politics and discriminate while distributing ration. A few days ago they even transferred an IAS who had stopped his car. This is how they work."
