Gujarat: Ahead of Assembly Polls, Two Islamic State Suspects Arrested In Surat

The Gujarat anti-terrorism squad (ATS) on Wednesday arrested two suspected Islamic State (IS) operatives ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kasim Timberwala and Aabed Mirza.
As per the information, the two IS operatives were planning to execute a blast in Ahmedabad's Khadia area.
Kasim was employed with a hospital as a technician, while Aabed worked as a lawyer.
Kasim was planning to abscond to Jamaica after executing the blast. (ANI)
