A local resident in Kashmir’s Tral which falls under the Pulwama district has affirmed that he has full faith in the Narendra Modi led Central government and expressed confidence that it will work for their welfare, ANI reported.
The local called Prime Minister Modi a good man and made a few demands like improvement in local schools, better food quality in Anganwadi centres, animal husbandry centres in their village and space for kids to play.
There are signs of normalcy returning to Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370 with schools opening and the capital Srinagar witnessing regular traffic in the streets.

Another effect of Article 370’s abrogation has been the granting of Minister of State status for mayors of municipal corporations in Srinagar and Jammu. As a result, the mayors Junaid Azim Mattu and Chander Mohan Gupta would now have the power to take executive decisions.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
