The Union Home Ministry in an order dated 29 April has given permission for the movement of migrant workers, students, tourists, pilgrims and others who are currently stranded in various parts of the country, ANI has reported.

Here is a copy of the notification as tweeted by ANI.

As per the notification, states and union territories (UT) have been asked to designate nodal authorities and develop protocols for sending and receiving such stranded individuals. The states and UTs have thus been asked to mutually agree upon the transfer of the stranded individuals.

Those wishing to travel will first be screened and only be allowed to board sanitised buses after being found asymptomatic. The individuals will again be screened after reaching their destination and will be asked to home quarantine.
