Dialling up her animosity with the Bharatiya Janata Party, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee openly declared that she hates the BJP and vowed to take revenge against what she alleges were incidents of poll violence against TMC workers post the Lok Sabha election results, reports Times Now.

“I hate BJP! I hate BJP! I hate BJP! I honour and respect the culture of Bengal. Few goons have taken advantage of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). I will not spare anyone.” She added,” I don't live under the mercy of Modi or the central government,” said Mamata in an emotionally charged speech.

Mamata, who sat on a dharna in front of Naihati municipality office in Kolkata, alleged that the post-poll violence left several TMC workers homeless.“When I was coming here today few of them came to attack me. I am telling you I have fought and even braved bullets all my life. I will not succumb. I will not forget anything,” added an infuriated Mamata.

In the meantime, Didi also warned PM Modi against attempting to impose President's rule in the state.
