Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a packed crowd of around 1.10 lakh people at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Moreta after welcoming US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for the Namaste Trump event.
While entering the stadium Trump and his delegation was welcomed by Home Minister Amit Shah.

During his speech Prime Minister Modi said, “One nation is proud of the statue of liberty, while another is proud of statue of unity”.
“India-US relations are no longer just another partnership. It is a far greater and closer relationship...there is so much that we share: shared values and ideals shared spirit of enterprise and innovation. Shared opportunities and challenges shared hopes and aspirations”, added Prime Minister Modi.
