About Sanjeev Sanyal
Sanjeev Sanyal is an Indian economist, bestselling writer, environmentalist and urban theorist. He was earlier the Deutsche Bank’s Global Strategist, and is widely regarded as one of Asia’s leading economists. A Rhodes scholar and Eisenhower Fellow, he was named the ‘Young Global Leader 2010’ by the World Economic Forum at Davos.
Sanyal has been a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London, Visiting Scholar at Oxford University, Adjunct Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, Singapore, and a Senior Fellow of the World Wide Fund for Nature (formerly World Wildlife Fund).
