The family of a groom in Indonesia ended up at another venue and the man nearly married a different woman as they had put an incorrect address on Google Maps. Apparently, a wedding and an engagement were set to take place in the same village that led to this confusion.
The groom’s side had to reach the wedding destination at Losari Hamlet of Pakis district in central Java. However, they instead landed at a nearby place named Jengkol Hamlet that was the venue of another duo named Burhan Sidqi and Maria Ulfa.
Ulfa revealed that Sidqi’s family was late to reach the venue as they had stopped to search for a toilet in between and the other group by mistakenly arrived over there in the meanwhile. Initially, Ulfa didn’t understand the chaos as she was getting ready with her makeup artist.
As conversations struck up between family members of both sides, one of the individuals from the bride’s group swiftly realized the mistake and avoided what could have been a further embarrassing situation.
“I was shocked when I saw the man’s group as I did not know any of them,” she was quoted as saying in a report by the Indian Express. However, the groom’s family apologized to Ulfa’s side upon understanding their error and reached their actual wedding venue through the latter’s assistance.
