An encounter is underway between militants and security forces in Nagrota town of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is located in the Jammu district of the state.
According to reports, 2 to 3 terrorists have targeted a military location near White Knight Corps in Nagrota. Terrorists first lobbed grenades at the Army unit and opened fired at around 5:30 am, Times Now reported. Two soldiers have reportedly been injured in the firing.
Suspicious movement was noticed in Chamliyal, Samba (J&K). When challenged, Border Security Force (BSF) patrol was fired upon by miscreants holed up in a tube well pump-house. Schools in the town have been closed and the area has been cordoned off by security forces.
