Border Security Force (BSF) has shot down a Pakistani drone in Kathua district of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) along the International Border (IB), reports Hindustan Times.
The drone was found to be carrying the United States (US) made M-4 semi-automatic rifle with 60 rounds in it, two magazines and seven M67 grenades.
The drone was flying inside Kathua district's Rathua area's Hiranagar sector when it was shot down by the force. Upon being shot down, the drone fell in a field at around 5.10 am in the morning today (20 June).
The drone alone weighed around 17.5 kilograms and the weapons consignment attached to it weighed another five to six kilograms. Who the arms were to be delivered remains a matter under investigation.
The drone was meant for some "Ali Bhai" as the name had put up on the payload. It was an eight feet wide six-copter drone in blade-to-blade measurement.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
