J&K: Three Terrorists Gunned Down In An Encounter In Pulwama’s Zadoora Area, One Soldier Martyred

An Indian Army soldier was killed in action in an encounter which broke out in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K)'s Pulwama district today (29 August) morning, reports Hindustan Times.

In the same encounter, the security forces gunned down three terrorists. With this, the security forces have eliminated a total of six terrorists from Kashmir Valley in less than 24 hours. Yesterday, (28 August) three terrorists were gunned down in an encounter which broke out in Shopian district. During these 24 hours, one terrorist was also captured alive.

As an outcome of the encounter in Pulwama, the security forces have also recovered one AK assault rifle and two pistols along with other incriminating materials.

The encounter had broken out at 1 am in the dark in Pulwama Zadoora area with the Indian Army and the J&K Police personnel launching a joint operation which is continuing.

The security forces have been on a spree to eliminate as many terrorists as are present on the Indian soil in the Kashmir Valley, in a bid to restore peace, and law and order in the UT which has for long been suffering on account on Pakistan infested terrorism.
