In a matter of embarrassment for the Chief Minister (CM) Kamal Nath led Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, its leader Sunny Rajpal on Monday (17 June) allegedly assaulted cops in the city of Indore, reports India Today.
Rajpal was recorded on the camera while misbehaving with the police. In the video, he could be seen pushing a police officer. The incident took place when the leader was denied entry to a meeting chaired by the Public Works Department Minister Sajjan Singh Verma.

However, Rajpal has denied any such assault. He further stressed that there was no scope for any complaint to be filed against him to the authorities.
Trying to clarify on the assault, Rajpal said that "I was in the meeting. I went to the washroom for five minutes. When I reached the gate, I was denied to re-enter." He also said, "there was no such assault. I was just not allowed to enter the meeting."

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
