Naga Peace Talks Conclude On A Positive Note; Agreement To Be Signed On A Later Date

The Naga peace talk have ended on a positive note on Thursday (31 October) as the parties have arrived at a mutual understanding after the final round of discussion between NSCN-IM and government of India’s interlocutor RN Ravi, reported Times Of India.
The actual signing of agreement however will take place at a later date.

The former Nagaland chief minister, TR Zeliang praised the efforts of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for showing resoluteness to solve Naga issue.
“The dream and desire of the Naga people for permanent peace and tranquility in our land will soon become a reality after positive outcome of today's meeting. Once again big congratulations to all parties involved in bringing about understanding” added Zeliang in a separate tweet.
