Nashik Cops Arrest Man For A Video Wiping Nose, Mouth With Currency Notes And Calling Coronavirus As Allah’s Punishment

The Nashik rural police arrested a 40-year old Muslim man from Malegaon, whose a Tiktok video showing him licking and wiping his nose with a bunch of currency notes and describing coronavirus a punishment by Allah went viral on social media, The Times Of India reported
After the videos went viral, the police swiftly arrested the suspect under sections 153 and 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
The Nashik Rural Police informed on Twitter that the man was identified and taken into police custody.

In the viral video, the man is seen taking a bunch of currency notes and licking them with his tongue and wiping his nose with them.
The Times Of India report quoted a senior police official as saying “The cybercrime police swung into action and traced the location from where the post was made. The man was arrested on Thursday. He will be produced before the Malegaon court on Friday for getting his police remand,”
