In order to arrest the spread of Corona Virus through Indian nationals being evacuated from CoViD 19 affected countries, the Indian Navy has setup a quarantine camp at the INS Vishwakarma in Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in Visakhapatnam.
According to a PIB report, the camp can house 200 people and houses all the required facilities to quarantine the evacuated Indians.
The evacuated personnel in the camp will be closely monitored to ensure Social Distancing and will be kept under quarantine for a period of 14 days as a precautionary measure.
A team of naval personnel and medical professionals of ENC will undertake medical supervision as prescribed by the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Adequate preventive care is being provided to all evacuated personnel and all necessary steps are being taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
It should be noted that the total number of confirmed cases in India reported so far climbed to 168 on Thursday.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
