New Course At IIM Jaipur To Help Students Adopt To Fast-Changing World Of Technology

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM)- Udaipur is introducing a new course to enable students to work efficiently in the dynamic world of technology, Jagran Josh reports. Further, the eight-year-old institute also plans to become the leading research institute of the country soon.
Director of IIM Udaipur Janat Shah gave an interview to PTI. The course on new technologies and analytics empowers students to work in a fast-changing environment which influences business and our lives like blockchain and artificial intelligence,` he said.
The new course would serve the needs of emerging technologies and digital business enterprises. Students will be able to apply for the programme in the next couple of months Shah said.
The institute will launch the course in a different way owing to the speed of change in digital space. Generally, a new course is introduced only when the institute s ready with study materials and curriculum, but they approached it differently as they do not the luxury of time, Janat said.
IIM Udaipur is also adding faculty to work with industry to develop relevant course material. The institute has set up an advisory council which consists of eminent personalities like the founder of ‘Quikr’ to do the same.
