Octagonal Audio Experience This Cricket World Cup; Fans To Get Coverage In Eight Different Languages

Star Sports have announced that they would have eight language feeds - English, Hindi. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Bengali - for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales, the Television Post reports. The official global broadcaster would also soon launch Star Sports 1 Marathi, and the world cup would be aired on it.

In India, the tournament would be broadcasted on Star Sports 1 SD/HD, Star Sports 2 SD/HD, Star Sports 3, Star Sports 1 Hindi SD/HD, Star Sports Select 1 SD/HD, Star Sports Select 2 SD/HD, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla, Star Sports 1 Marathi, Asianet Plus and Star Sports First.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 would also be live-streamed on Hotstar. The global event starts on 30 May, when hosts England would face South Africa. Indian cricket team began their campaign on 5 May when they face South Africa, followed by Australia and New Zealand on 9 May and 13 May respectively. The most anticipated match between rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for 16 June.
