Over 30 Dead, 50 Injured As Fire Breaks Out In Factory In New Delhi’s Anaj Mandi

More than 30 people were killed and over a dozen others injured on Sunday (8 December) in a major blaze in a factory in Delhi's Anaj Mandi area near Rani Jhansi Road market, the national capital's Fire Service Department said.
So far, more than 50 people have been rescued and shifted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital and Lady Harding Hospital.
The Fire Department said that the fire broke out at in the market at 5.22 am and 25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
The toll was said to increase.
