Gurgaon-based hotel aggregator OYO Rooms has achieved a new milestone in expanding its presence in the United Kingdom (UK) as it now covers more than 100 hotels in 25 urban centres across the country, reports Business Standard.
Some of the major cities where the company has built a presence for itself are London, Glasgow, Manchester, Edinburgh and Torquay. OYO has revealed that its British portfolio has expanded by three times in just the last three months.
βThe diverse range of hotels in the current portfolio, which have an average of 25 rooms, are already benefiting from higher occupancy rates, increased customer satisfaction and year-on-year room revenue uplift. OYO, led by founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal, has now grown its portfolio internationally to close to 23,000 hotels, with over one million rooms being managed in some 800-odd cities.
